Mobile App Development
Mobile apps people keep on their home screen.
iOS, Android and cross-platform apps, plus the APIs and backends behind them. From first release to scale.
The problem
Why this is hard
A successful app is much more than screens. It needs a backend that stays up, releases that do not break, sensible offline behavior, analytics that tell you what users actually do, and a codebase your team can keep changing for years.
We build mobile products end to end with that in mind. Small senior teams, frequent releases to real devices, and engineering decisions made for the product’s whole life, not just the demo.
Capabilities
What we do
Product-minded engineering
We help shape the MVP scope, so the first release tests the riskiest assumptions instead of building everything at once.
Cross-platform apps
React Native and Flutter apps that feel native on both platforms from a single, well-structured codebase.
Native iOS & Android
Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose when performance, platform features or the existing codebase call for it.
Backends & APIs
Secure, well-documented APIs, authentication, push notifications, offline sync and payments.
Quality & release engineering
Automated testing, crash reporting, feature flags and CI/CD to the App Store and Google Play.
Rescue & modernization
Stabilize an inherited app. We raise the crash-free rate, upgrade outdated dependencies and make the codebase safe to change again.
Engagements
Typical ways to start
8–14 weeks
MVP build
From a validated idea to a production app in both stores, with analytics in place to learn from real users.
2 weeks
App audit
A review of code quality, performance, security and release process, with a clear improvement plan.
Monthly
Ongoing product team
A small senior team that ships features, keeps up with OS releases and owns quality over time.

FAQ
Mobile App Development questions
Should we go cross-platform or native?
For most business and consumer apps, a modern cross-platform framework is the faster, more cost-effective choice. Native wins for graphics-heavy apps, deep platform integration or teams that already have strong native codebases. We will recommend one based on your product, not our preference.
Can you work with our existing app and backend?
Yes. A lot of our mobile work starts with an audit of an inherited codebase, followed by stabilization and a plan to keep improving it.
Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?
Yes, including signing, store listings, review guidelines and phased rollouts. We set it up so you own the developer accounts.
Do you do design?
We work with your designers or trusted design partners, and we are comfortable implementing established design systems. Engineering is our core.
