Cloud · Mobile · Agentic AI
Senior engineers for the software your business runs on.
Bragden is a small software engineering firm. We design and build cloud platforms, mobile apps and AI agents, and we engineer them to be reliable, secure and yours to own.
What we do
Three disciplines, one engineering standard
Most products need all three: infrastructure that scales, apps people enjoy, and AI that actually works. We cover the full stack with the same rigor.
Cloud Engineering
Architecture, migration, infrastructure as code, CI/CD and cost optimization on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
- Architecture & modernization
- Migration
- Infrastructure as code
- CI/CD & developer platforms
Mobile App Development
iOS, Android and cross-platform apps, plus the APIs and backends behind them. From first release to scale.
- Product-minded engineering
- Cross-platform apps
- Native iOS & Android
- Backends & APIs
Agentic Engineering
LLM-powered features, AI agents and automated workflows, engineered with evaluations, guardrails and cost control.
- AI use-case discovery
- LLM features in your product
- Agents & tool use
- Retrieval & knowledge systems
Why Bragden
A small firm, on purpose
Large agencies scale by adding layers. We stay small so that experience, accountability and communication stay with the people doing the work.
Senior people only
The engineers you meet are the engineers who do the work. No bait-and-switch, no junior teams learning on your budget.
Direct communication
You talk to the people building your product. Clear written updates, honest trade-offs, and bad news delivered early.
Production-grade by default
Infrastructure as code, automated tests, CI gates, security reviews and documentation are part of the job, not optional extras.
Built to hand over
We measure success by how well your team can own what we built. No lock-in, no black boxes.
How we work
A process built for predictable delivery
Clear milestones, working software early, and no surprises at the end.
- 01
Discover
We learn the business goal, the users and the constraints before touching the code. We read what exists, talk to the people who run it, and find the real problem.
- 02
Design
We turn the goal into an architecture and a delivery plan: small, testable milestones, each with acceptance criteria you can verify yourself.
- 03
Build
Short cycles with working software at the end of each one. Every change goes through review and automated checks, and you see progress in a live environment, not in a status report.
- 04
Hand over & support
We leave you able to own what we built: documentation, runbooks and pairing sessions with your team. If you prefer, we stay on to operate and evolve it.
Engagements
Flexible ways to work together
You know what you need built.
Fixed-scope project
A defined outcome, a milestone plan and a fixed price per milestone. Best for new products, migrations and well-understood builds.
- Clear budget up front
- Milestone-based billing
- Acceptance criteria per milestone
Your team needs more senior capacity.
Embedded senior engineers
One or more of our engineers join your team, your tools and your rituals, and raise the bar while they ship.
- Monthly engagement
- Works inside your process
- Mentoring built in
You need an expert second opinion.
Advisory & audits
Architecture reviews, cloud cost and security audits, AI readiness assessments. You get a written report with prioritized, actionable recommendations.
- 2–4 week engagements
- Written findings and roadmap
- Follow-up review session

FAQ
Common questions
What size of company do you work with?
Mostly startups and small to mid-sized companies. Some have no in-house engineering team, others have a team that needs senior capacity or expertise in a specific area. We also take on focused projects for larger organizations.
How do projects start?
With a free 30-minute call to understand the problem. If there is a fit, we propose a short discovery phase or a fixed-scope first milestone, so you can see how we work before committing to more.
Can you work with our existing team and codebase?
Yes, and most of our work does. We adapt to your tools and processes, and we leave the codebase in better shape than we found it.
Where are you based?
We are a remote-first team and work with clients across time zones, with guaranteed overlap hours for meetings and collaboration.
Have something that needs building?
Tell us where you are and where you need to be. You will talk to an engineer, not a salesperson, and get a straight answer on whether we are the right fit.
