Approach
Predictable delivery is a process, not a promise
Software projects fail in familiar ways: unclear goals, big-bang releases, and surprises discovered too late. Our process exists to remove each of those failure modes.
Process
Four phases, sized to your project
A two-week audit and a six-month platform build follow the same shape. Only the depth changes.
- 01
Discover
1–2 weeksWe learn the business goal, the users and the constraints before touching the code. We read what exists, talk to the people who run it, and find the real problem.
- Current-state assessment
- Risks and unknowns, ranked
- A clear definition of done
- 02
Design
1–3 weeksWe turn the goal into an architecture and a delivery plan: small, testable milestones, each with acceptance criteria you can verify yourself.
- Architecture and decision records
- Milestone plan with estimates
- Security and cost review
- 03
Build
IterativeShort cycles with working software at the end of each one. Every change goes through review and automated checks, and you see progress in a live environment, not in a status report.
- Working increments every 1–2 weeks
- CI/CD and automated tests
- Weekly demo and written update
- 04
Hand over & support
OngoingWe leave you able to own what we built: documentation, runbooks and pairing sessions with your team. If you prefer, we stay on to operate and evolve it.
- Docs and runbooks
- Knowledge transfer with your team
- Optional support retainer
Engineering standards
Quality is built into the workflow
These are not aspirations. They are how every engagement runs, including when we use AI coding agents to move faster.
Specs before code
Every piece of work starts with a written goal, testable acceptance criteria and an agreed scope. It makes estimates honest and reviews objective.
CI is the gate
Nothing reaches your main branch without passing automated tests, linting and security checks. We add the pipeline first if it does not exist.
Every change is reviewed
All code, whether written by our engineers or with AI assistance, is reviewed by a senior engineer against the spec before it merges.
Security from the start
Least-privilege access, secrets kept out of code, dependency scanning and threat modeling for anything handling sensitive data.
Everything as code
Infrastructure, configuration and pipelines live in version control. Environments can be rebuilt, audited and understood.
You own everything
Code lives in your repositories and runs in your accounts from day one. No proprietary frameworks, no hostage situations.
Communication
You always know where things stand
Transparency is cheap to promise and hard to deliver. Here is what it concretely means when you work with us.
- A shared channel with the engineers doing the work
- Weekly demo of working software
- Short written update every week: done, next, risks
- Decisions recorded with context, so they survive staff changes
Engagement models
Choose the shape that fits
You know what you need built.
Fixed-scope project
A defined outcome, a milestone plan and a fixed price per milestone. Best for new products, migrations and well-understood builds.
Your team needs more senior capacity.
Embedded senior engineers
One or more of our engineers join your team, your tools and your rituals, and raise the bar while they ship.
You need an expert second opinion.
Advisory & audits
Architecture reviews, cloud cost and security audits, AI readiness assessments. You get a written report with prioritized, actionable recommendations.
Have something that needs building?
Tell us where you are and where you need to be. You will talk to an engineer, not a salesperson, and get a straight answer on whether we are the right fit.
