Why we exist
Senior expertise, without the agency overhead
Companies that need serious engineering help usually face a poor choice. Large consultancies bring process and scale, but also junior staffing, slow communication and high overhead. Freelancers are nimble, but a single person rarely covers cloud infrastructure, mobile apps and AI at production quality.
We built Bragden to sit in between: a deliberately small firm of senior engineers with deep, overlapping expertise across the modern stack. You get the judgment of people who have built and operated real systems, and direct access to them throughout the project.
We are especially interested in the shift happening in software right now. AI agents are becoming part of both the products we build and the way we build them. We help clients take advantage of that without giving up the engineering discipline that keeps software reliable.

Engineering over theater
We would rather ship a working milestone than a polished slide deck. Progress is measured in software running in front of users.
Honest advice
Sometimes the right answer is a smaller project, an off-the-shelf tool, or not building the thing at all. We will tell you that.
Leave it better
Every codebase, pipeline and team we touch should be in better shape when we leave: easier to change, better documented, safer to run.
Pragmatic with new technology
We adopt new tools, including AI, where they make the work measurably better, and we are clear-eyed about where they do not.
